First and foremost I am a mum to a gorgeous young man called Billy. He turns 22 this year and I am very proud of the person he has turned into. He is handsome, hardworking and has a huge heart. Secondly, I am an aunt of a special little boy called Sam who turns 7 this year. Whilst we try to teach our young people about life, they teach us what life is all about!

Dave and I are engaged to be married, however, our love of travel has put the big day on the back burner over the last few years. Travel other than photography is our second biggest love. From visiting little quaint fishing villages on the coast of Cornwall to snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. Being able to photograph our adventures is a perfect combination.

I have worked as an IT Project Manager for over 15 years, a job that I enjoy but my biggest passion is photography. It doesn’t feel like work behind the lens, capturing priceless moments is something that will continue to be my biggest love.

I prefer to shoot with natural light and natural surroundings to create a (you guessed it) natural shot!  Natural light photography can be tricky though as you need to time your photo shoots carefully and are subject to our beloved mother nature of course!  A lovely, soft, cloudy day are the perfect conditions, no harsh shadows or squinting subjects using the location to frame you!

I love all types of photography (including flash if I have to), I particularly enjoy weddings and photographing children – capturing your day, or little treasure with a creative eye and an emotional heart!
