On my 40th birthday, following lots and lots of parties, I celebrated my actual birthday with my family. I couldn’t think of a better way to finish off all the celebrations than a beautiful meal with my favourite people in the world! Family are so precious to me and I am so lucky to have an amazing group of people that I am related too!
Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot, London!!
All thanks to Pete, my fabulous friend who is a Royal Enclosure Member. Guests are unsponsored and only able to attend with the existing Royal Enclosure member who has invited them. This is the only way you can gain access, I felt extremely lucky and very privileged.
A trip to the beach…
Ok, it’s not the Four Mile Beach in Queensland, Australia nor the Pink Sands of Harbour Island, Bahamas. Location isn’t always important especially when you get to share it with some of your favourite people and my beloved doggies!
I’ve been to Ibiza a couple of times, most recently on one of my best friends 40th birthday! We stayed in the hotel next to Ushuaia the open air club in Playa d’en Bossa! The hotel we stayed in has now become part of the Ushuaia estate called the Towers (I think)! It will probably be a little more expensive to stay there now, amazing views over the night club and the beach!!
A lovely little break with my cousin and his gorgeous family! I joined Darren and Sue for a few days in the sun, they were staying in a beautiful traditional house, owned by his brother-in-law, in a small town called Javea!
Snow trip…. my first time boarding in Italy! We were all very excited, we flew out on Boxing day for New Year!
Saint Emilion, France is one of my favourite little town’s that I have visited. No and not because it is one of the principle red wine areas in France, producing some of the very finest wine in the world!!
When in Rome! We celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in Rome, taking full advantage of the additional bank holiday!
A short break to Barcelona for the weekend, what a wonderful city – it is steeped in history with amazing architecture!
I spent many of my early holiday’s whilst Billy was very young in Majorca. I will have to dig out some old photographs, scan and upload – no digital ones back then haha!
